This photo (and the photo--see below-- with Gil and the Petko family) were taken during Fred's and Gil's visit to Slovakia
with Helene Cincebeaux's '2001 Treasures Tour.'
Here we see Gil Kubancsek of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania,
and Fred Kovalyak of Columbia, Maryland;
it was taken on top of the mountain in the Vratna Valley region.
Gil writes, "Fred and I met for the first time on the tour and discovered we were relatives
while individually researching our ancestors in Sarriske Jastrabie and Circ."
