How do you get the CD & DVD?

Fill out the request form below and give or send it along with payment of $10.00 to receive both the CD and DVD to:

Checks should be made payable to “JSM Class of ’56 Reunion Committee”. Money not used for the materials and shipping of the CD & DVD, will be retained by the reunion committee for their expenses or as a donation to the Zoo or JSM East at their discretion. Shipment of the CD & DVD is planned for January 2007.

What is on the CD?

a) 1/3 of the Mortonian Weekly Newspapers in the 1952-1956 time frame;

b) All of the individual junior & senior pictures (with the attended activities) and all of the class pictures from freshman and sophomore years;

c) Memories from those that have contributed their recollections;

d) The 4 years of Trial Flights (annual literary publication);

e) Pictures of dances, private parties, events, dance favors/programs, club patches and award pins;

f) Sports memorabilia like pennants, pencils with schedules;

g) 1955/56 Dateline & 1952/53 "M" Book;

h) 1956 Graduation program & Berwyn Life newspaper articles;

i) List of music of the day and

j) Names/addresses and e-mail of “found” classmates of the class of ’56.

What is on the DVD?

16 mm film of the 1953 Colorado trip and the 1955 homecoming parade and video of the events from the 50th reunion.

What do we still need?

Remainder of Mortonian Weekly Newspapers in the 1952-1956 time frame;

More photos from individuals;

Balance of dance favors/programs;

Additional sports memorabilia from baseball, track, wrestling, etc and pictures of sweaters, cheerleader outfits, (w/m & w/m);

Additional movies of the events and people;

Morton Ring and trophy photos;

Names of the music of the day;

A Morton Tablet;

Photos of buildings and “hangouts”, i.e. Tops Drive-in on Ogden Ave., Buzzys and ? (S.W. corner of 26th St. & Austin Blvd., wide-angle view of Morton Café, “Light House” (a little ice cream stand on 1st. Ave, just across the street from Richard's drive-in and just across the street from the Quarry on Plainfield Rd), etc.

What do you need to run the CD and DVD?

For the CD one needs a Microsoft Windows compatible computer running Microsoft Internet Explorer. The DVD will play on most standard DVD players made in the past 5 years and/or computer based DVD players.
